Notable Changes from the Previous Year
The only change to the 2024 HR-V includes adding the rear cross-traffic monitoring safety feature on several trims.
Infotainment and Technology Features
A 7-inch colour touchscreen is the standard infotainment system, with an optional 9-inch for a more futuristic cabin. It supports AM/FM audio, wired Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Siri Eyes free, USB device connector and SiriusXM. Another 7-inch colour TFT centre meter display with a driver information interface is also standard.
Exterior Design
The exterior of this car is sleek thanks to the distinctive grille design, black-coloured door handles and LED headlights with auto high beams. Additional features include black heated power mirrors, rear privacy tinted glass and a variable intermittent windshield. Standard wheels are 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, or you can choose the available machine finished with Shark Grey inserts.
Interior Comfort and Cargo Space
With an attractive cabin design, the HR-V interior is modern, with additional features for comfort. The front seats are supportive, with various adjustments to suit every driver. Standard features include automatic climate control with air filtration, sliding sun visors, tilt and telescopic steering wheel and map lights.
Performance Features
A 2.0-litre, 16-valve, port injection, DOHC, i-VTEC four-cylinder engine is standard across the lineup. It provides 150 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 138 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm. Front-wheel drive models have a fuel economy of city/highway/combined 9.1/7.4/8.3 L/100 KM, while for all-wheel drive, the number rises to 9.4/7.8/8.7 L/100 KM.
Safety and Driver Assistance Features
The Honda HR-V has several intuitive safety features to keep you and everyone inside the vehicle safe. Its lane departure warning system issues tactile and visual alerts when your vehicle drifts without signalling. Other features include forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking system, adaptive cruise control and road departure mitigation.
